The Russell County Board of Education will meet in special session at 8:00 this morning.
The board will hear a request for an out-of-state trip for the Russell County NJROTC program, a fundraiser request for Russell County Middle School, and the final 2025-2026 amended school calendar.
The meeting will take place in Room 114 of the Russell County ANC and is open to the public.
The Russell County High School Site-Based Decision-Making Council has also called a special meeting for tomorrow afternoon.
The meeting will take place at 3:30 in the high school library media center.
The council is expected to go into executive session for principal application reviews as well as interviews.
The agenda also includes possible action to hire a new principal.
