It is almost time for the City of Russell Springs to place the veteran banners along Main Street, and city officials say anyone who wishes to recognize a veteran with a banner need to place an order soon.
Mayor Eddie Thomas told WJRS News orders need to be placed this week.
Anyone interested in ordering or renewing a veteran banner should call City Hall at 270-866-3981.
Banners will begin being displayed on Main Street on Memorial Day Weekend.
