Two Pulaski County residents were arrested Tuesday evening after methamphetamine, fentanyl, and a handgun were found in a car at the Dollar General store in Nancy.
38-year-old Andrea DeRossett of Nancy was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine – 2nd offense, possession of fentanyl, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
42-year-old Christopher Bolin of Somerset faces the same charges with an additional charge of public intoxication of a controlled substance.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called to a status check at the Dollar General after it was reported two people were passed out in a car in the parking lot. At the scene, the sheriff’s office said officers discovered more than 10 grams of methamphetamine, 1.5 grams of fentanyl, and a 9mm handgun.
Both were lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center. The investigation is ongoing.
