The Laker Baseball team picked up its first win of the season on the road at Barren County Friday night by a score of 4-2.
Tanner Stringer finished with a hit and a run batted in. Brody Terry and Jace Skaggs each drove in a run for the Lakers as well.
Alden Brumley earned the win on the mound, pitching 4 innings and giving up just 1 run on 2 hits, striking out 2.
Walker Stephens earned the save, pitching two shutout innings, giving up just 1 hit and striking out 3 batters.
The Lakers are on the road this evening for a district matchup at Monroe County, getting underway at 5:30.
