The Russell County Lady Laker Softball team lost a close one to LaRue County Friday night by a score of 11-9.
Rylen McGowan hit two solo home runs in the game, her 2nd and 3rd of the young season.
Brylie Hardwick finished the game with a team-high 3 hits and one run batted in.
Camdin Cooper added a pair of hits and Mikenzie McClure finished with a team-high 3 RBI.
The Lady Lakers will look to get back in the win column this evening when they host Adair County, getting underway at 5:00.
