RCHS Educators Rising shines at region competition

The Russell County High School Educators Rising Club had a strong showing at the regional conference at Murray State this week.

Nine different students came away with a top-three finish in their respective competitions.

Anna Gosser – 1st place Job Interview

Diego Gomez – 2nd place Exploring Education Administration Careers

Jasmine Rowe – 2nd place Lesson Planning and Delivery STEM

Silvia Martinez – 2nd place Educators Rising Moment

Arielle Burton – 3rd place Children’s Literature Pre-K

Christian McQueary – 3rd place Lesson Planning and Delivery Arts

Bryan Lawhorn – 3rd place Exploring Support Services Careers

The Educators Rising Club at Russell County High School is made of high school students planning on a future career in education with many stating that they would like to return to Russell County to teach upon graduation.
