Putting Young Kentuckians to Work also benefits employers

Last week on local news, we reported on a new program aimed at helping young people in the Lake Cumberland area and across Kentucky find careers.

The Putting Young Kentuckians to Work program not only benefits young people in the area looking for a career, but also benefits employers. BJ Wilkerson with the Lake Cumberland Area Development District was recently a guest on Community Conversation  on WJRS and spoke more about the benefits of the program for employers.

One of those benefits involves the program paying for a work experience for a worker to try out a job.

Employers interested in participating in the program can call 270-866-8435.
