The solar farm ordinance will be a featured topic at Monday’s meeting of the Russell County Fiscal Court.
The court is expected to hear from an attorney with Round Trip Energy, the company that has been working toward constructing a solar farm near the Sano community.
The court is also expected to hear from the Russell Countians Against Industrial Solar group.
The court is expected to hold a second reading and vote on the solar ordinance that was introduced last month.
The fiscal court will meet at 10:00 Monday at the Russell County Courthouse.
