The westbound lanes on Fishing Creek Bridge on the Cumberland Parkway remain closed to traffic.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet closed the westbound lanes on the bridge on Monday following an inspection. That inspection revealed damage to the bridge deck, leading to the closure.
The eastbound lanes remain open at this time.
As of now, there’s no timeline for when the westbound lanes will reopen. The transportation cabinet is working to get materials needed for the repairs to the bridge deck, but it is not yet known when those materials will arrive.
Drivers can take Highway 80 to Nancy, and then get on the parkway.
