The Russell Springs Police Department has a new officer.
Chris Tweedy was sworn in yesterday as the newest member of the city’s police department.
Tweedy has experience working in Russell and surrounding counties. Most recently, he served as a deputy with the Russell County Sheriff’s Office. He’s also served with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, Adair County Sheriff’s Office, and the Columbia Police Department.
