The Russell County High School Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Program is continuing to grow.
New Senior Naval Science Instructor Dennis Kiser said the program is continuing to look for new opportunities for students with some competitions coming up in the fall.
Kiser was a guest on Talk Around Town on WJRS yesterday and said the high school NJROTC program teaches valuable life skills and is not just for students looking to join the military after high school.
Kiser was hired as an NJROTC instructor at the school back in March.
