Russell County Hospital nurse Nichole Cundiff is the newest recipient of the DAISY Award at the hospital.
The DAISY Award is a recognition program to celebrate and recognize nurses by collecting nominations from patients, families, and co-workers.
Cundiff was nominated by two patient families for the award. The nominations said Cundiff went above and beyond to provide care and assistance.
Nurses receiving the DAISY Award receive professional development, education, and wellness benefits, along with a certificate, a pin, and a spotlight on the DAISY Foundation website.
