The fiscal court unanimously approved an amended ordinance regarding litter and nuisance complaints at its meeting this week.
The amended ordinance requires vehicles hauling garbage to be covered to prevent litter from spilling out onto county roadways. It also changes language that will only require the county attorney’s office to send one certified letter to property owners regarding a nuisance complaint instead of the previously-required two letters.

Magistrate Terry Waddell made a motion to approve the ordinance and seconded by Magistrate Larry Skaggs.
