The Russell County Dance team performed in its final competition of the season at Somerset High School over the weekend.
The high school team placed 2nd in the pom competition and 3rd overall in the jazz competition.
The middle school team was named grand champion and placed 1st in the hip-hop and jazz competitions.
The dance team also took 1st place in the duet competition, and two 1st place finishes in solo competitions, as well as a 2nd, 3rd, and 6th place finish in solo competitions.
