Russell Springs man arrested for allegedly sending inappropriate messages to minor

A Russell Springs man was arrested after he allegedly sent messages containing sexual references to a 15-year-old on Snapchat.

Kentucky State Police arrested 33-year-old Zachary Grider of Russell Springs on Saturday on a charge of Procuring or Promoting the Use of a Minor by Electronic Means.

State Police launched an investigation on Thursday into the incident after a trooper became aware of a complaint regarding the Snapchat messages.

Grider was arrested by Trooper Blane Sharp on Saturday and lodged in the Russell County Detention Center just after 2:30 p.m.

Sharp is continuing the investigation by Kentucky State Police.
