The Russell County School District continues to look ahead toward building a new middle school.
Superintendent Michael Ford was recently a guest on All Things Russell on WJRS, and provided some information about plans for a new middle school.
Ford said one of the obstacles with the project would be losing the current staging area for buses in front of Russell County Middle School. The new bus garage being built helps solve that problem, according to Ford.
The new bus garage will be located next to Russell Springs Elementary.
