According to AAA, the average price of gas in Russell County comes in at about $2.65.
The only neighboring county with a lower average price is Adair County, which comes in about 4 cents cheaper.
Other neighboring counties include Cumberland and Casey County each coming in at around $2.70, while Pulaski, Wayne and Clinton counties are all seeing average prices higher than $2.80.
AAA records the average price in Kentucky at $2.75, about 8 cents cheaper than this time last year.
