An Ohio man was pronounced dead at the scene following a single-vehicle crash on Wooldridge Road yesterday morning.
The Russell County Sheriff’s Office said 21-year-old Daviyn Hubbard of Akron, Ohio was operating a 2025 Toyota Camry eastbound on Wooldridge Road off South Highway 127 just before 9 yesterday morning when he lost control of his vehicle in a curve, left the roadway and struck a tree.
Hubbard was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Russell County Coroner.
The collision is under investigation by Deputy Bill Greer and the Russell County Coroner’s Office.
