Two people were sent to the hospital following a two-vehicle collision Monday morning.
The Russell County Sheriff’s Office responded to a collision at the intersection of Stephens Ridge Road and Harold Aaron Road at 7:00 yesterday morning.
Reports are a 2015 Ford Fusion, operated by 55-year-old Donna Kerns of Russell Springs, was traveling east on Stephens Ridge Road when she collided with a 2007 Honda Accord operated by 58-year-old Bernard Reyes of Russell Springs.
Kerns and a passenger in the Reyes vehicle, 60-year-old Becky Reyes, were transported to Russell County Hospital for treatment of injuries.
Deputy Nathan Bradshaw is investigating the collision. He was assisted on scene by Deputy Corey Meyer, the Jamestown Fire Department, and Russell County Emergency Management.
