Adair man arrested on drug charges following traffic stop with multiple Russell County warrants

An Adair County man was arrested following a traffic stop on drug charges as well as multiple outstanding warrants from Russell County recently.

The Adair County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Brandon Greer, charging him with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Greer had an outstanding indictment warrant and an outstanding bench warrant from Russell County.

Court records show Greer was indicted by a Russell County grand jury in October on two counts of bail jumping and being a persistent felony offender after he reportedly did not appear in court on two separate occasions in July and August.

He was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail.
