The Russell County Laker and Lady Laker Basketball teams get their seasons underway tonight with road matchups.
The Lakers go on the road for a matchup with the Hart County Raiders tonight, with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m.
The Lady Lakers will be on the road as well, traveling to Bowling Green for a matchup with the Lady Purples in a 4th Region contest.
The Lady Lakers and Lady Purples are set to tip off at 7:30 tonight.
The Lady Lakers will play their home opener on Friday, and the Lakers will play their home opener next Tuesday as part of a district doubleheader against Cumberland County.
