Due to some recent incidents, Russell County Hospital is examining options to increase security at the facility.
Hospital CEO Scott Thompson said the hospital is looking into a number of options to see what the best fit is for the local healthcare facility.
Thompson said there have been three incidents in the last couple months that prompted lockdowns at the hospital. All the lockdowns were initiated out of extreme caution with no active threat.
