The weekly summer meal kit pickups will take place today.
According to an announcement from the Russell County Schools Nutrition Department, the Russell Springs City Park will no longer serve as a pickup location due to traffic issues.
Parents/guardians can pick up meal kits today beginning at 10:30 at Jamestown Elementary, Russell County Public Library, Salem Elementary and Russell Springs Elementary.
Anyone picking up meals must be the parent/guardian of the child, and only one meal kit per child is permitted, per guidelines from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Meal kit pickups are first come, first served.
