Two Russell County High School baseball players were named second team all-state this week by the Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association.
Senior Trace Stringer and junior Mayes Gosser were named all-state.
Gosser ranked third in the state in runs batted in this season, and Stringer ranked in the top 10 for wins pitching.
Both Stringer and Gosser ranked in the top 10 in the state this year in hits.
