The Russell County Laker Dance teams had a strong finish at the final competition of the season.
The high school dance team was named grand champion of the day at The Dance Association and brought home awards in best choreography for jazz routine and most entertaining in pom routine.
The high school dance team brought home a first place finish in the pom routine and second in jazz.
Seniors Olivia Thomas and Alexis Fox finished as runners-up in their duet.
The middle school team also competed, bringing home first place in jazz and second in pom routine, along with a best choreography award.
Both teams also received the TDA Heart award.
