A proposed bill in the Kentucky Senate would bring significant changes to school boards in Kentucky.
Senate Bill 170 would make several changes.
Among them would be changing the number of board members for school districts and that number being based on district enrollment.
Also included is a provision that would allow districts to hire relatives of board members.
The bill was introduced in the state senate on Friday.
