The Russell County Middle School Laker Basketball Teams won 1 of 3 games over Campbellsville on Monday.
The 8th grade team won 46-23 with Noah McMillin scoring 17, Dylan Stanelle scoring 7, Kinnett Wills scoring 6, Adrian Eads scoring 4, Max Davis, Bryson Irvin, and Maddox Shearer scoring 3 each, Webber Wilson scoring 2, and Noah Bennett scoring 1 point.
The 7th grade team lost 39-29. Alex Norton scored 14 points, Jaden Wooten scored 4, Gabe Browning scored 3, Tyson Stille, Mannix Bell and Cameron Bolin scored 2 each, while Jay Helm and Myles Davis each scored 1 point.
The 6th graders fell by a score of 37-19. Myles Davis led the scoring with 9, followed by Keenan Stille with 4, Talon Huckaby and Brody Terry with 2, and Gunner Godbey and Luke Walters with 1 point each.
The RCMS Lakers play at Clinton County on November 18. They will be back home on November 29 when they host Metcalfe County.
