50 percent of the eligible population in Russell County has been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
According to the CDC, a little more than 7,600 Russell County residents ages 12 and older have been fully vaccinated, eclipsing 50 percent of the county’s population that falls into that age range.
In total, nearly 8,600 Russell County residents have received at least one dose of the COVID vaccine.
