Three Hospitalized Following Crash on U.S. 127

A two-vehicle collision Saturday morning sent three people to the hospital. The crash occurred on U.S. 127 near York Road, about 11 miles south of Jamestown.

Russell County Sheriff’s Deputy Nathan Bradshaw says the accident happened around 10:35 when a northbound Dodge Charger driven by 31-year-old Zachary Lair of Albany reportedly crossed into the southbound lane and struck a Hyundai operated by 24-year-old Jonathon Taylor of Russell Springs.

Taylor was not injured. Passengers in his vehicle, 22-year-old Kaitlyn Harris of Russell Springs and a 3-year-old child, along with Lair, were transported by Russell County EMS to Russell County Hospital for treatment and observation.
