A Russell County emergency dispatcher is one of 17 graduates from Class 172 at the Department of Criminal Justice Training’s (DOCJT) Public Safety Dispatch Academy.
Madison Mae MacDougall from Russell County E-911 was among the graduates from Class 172 this past Friday.
Graduates of the academy have successfully completed a highly structured and comprehensive curriculum to satisfy mandated training requirements.
Over four weeks, the graduates of Class 172 received 164 hours of academy instruction. This instruction includes topics such as roles and responsibilities of dispatchers, phone and radio procedures, using state and national criminal databases and much more.
