While the High School Fishing World Finals and National Championship on Lake Cumberland this past weekend was a big event for the community, it was also big for a pair of local anglers.
Caden Hall and Kaleb Wilson are rising seniors at Russell County High School, who finished 6th overall in the World Finals on Saturday. As part of their impressive performance, the two also earned scholarships to Kentucky Christian University by being the highest-finishing team from Kentucky on Saturday.
Hall and Wilson were guests on Community Conversation on WJRS yesterday. Hall said he and Wilson certainly felt the support of the community during the tournament.
