24 individuals were indicted by a Russell County grand jury this week.
Those indicted include the following:
Tarawyona N. Martin, age 33 of Russell Springs, and Twyona M. Owens, age 50 of Columbia, charged with burglary first degree, assault second degree, and terroristic threatening third degree.
Christopher Cape, age 41 of Russell Springs, charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, tampering with physical evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia, and persistent felony offender first degree.
Terri Garner, age 43 of Russell Springs, charged with possession of methamphetamine – third offense and public intoxication.
Zachary T. Mann, age 24 of Jamestown, charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. He also faces additional charges of possession of methamphetamine, tampering with physical evidence, persistent felony offender second degree, and multiple traffic violations.
Jeremy E. George, age 34 of Russell Springs, charged with possession of methamphetamine – second offense, rear license plate not illuminated and failure to notify DOT of change of address.
Ibrahim N. Zahirovic, age 61 of Louisville, charged with fleeing or evading police first degree, driving under the influence, speeding 13 mph or more over the limit and reckless driving.
Gary D. Cook, age 52 of Eubank, charged with trafficking in over two grams of methamphetamine, driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, reckless driving, and persistent felony offender second degree.
Alexander Martinez, age 27 of Somerset, charged with fleeing or evading police first degree, driving under the influence, two counts of wanton endangerment first degree, reckless driving and failure to wear a seat belt.
Stephanie Morales, age 42 of Russell Springs, charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a legend drug, prescription controlled substance not in the proper container, and persistent felony offender – second degree.
Richard Crockett, age 47 of Russell Springs, charged with possession of methamphetamine, driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and reckless driving.
Ricky George, age 60 of Russell Springs, charged with possession of methamphetamine – second offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and operating on a suspended or revoked license.
Carolyn Hamblin, age 55 of Jabez, charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and multiple traffic violations.
Kandy Popplewell, age 48 of Russell Springs, charged with possession of methamphetamine, tampering with physical evidence, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a legend drug, and prescription controlled substance not in the proper container.
Anthony Popplewell, age 37 of Russell Springs, charged with fleeing or evading police first degree, fleeing or evading police second degree, wanton endangerment first degree, reckless driving, persistent felony offender – first degree, and multiple other traffic violations.
Robert A. Tucker, age 55 of Georgetown, charged with bail jumping first degree.
Rebecca A. Richter, age 42 of Lexington, charged with possession of cocaine.
Erica A. Dunn, age 45 of Russell Springs, charged with temporary tag violation, a Class D felony.
Barney A. Warner, age 41 of Bedford, charged with possession of fentanyl, possession of cocaine, possession of a controlled substance – second degree (buprenorphine), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, assault fourth degree, and terroristic threatening third degree.
David A. Kendall, age 32 of Russell Springs, charged with theft by unlawful taking – $1,000 or more.
Nathan P. Harden, age 39 of Campbellsville, charged with three counts of wanton endangerment first degree, tampering with physical evidence, possession of methamphetamine, driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a DUI-suspended license, endangering the welfare of a minor, illegal possession of a legend drug, speeding 17 mph or more over the limit, and persistent felony offender first degree.
Plemithy Montgomery, age 20 of Russell Springs, charged with assault third degree against a healthcare worker, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct first degree.
Derek Passmore, age 38 of Russell Springs, charged with trafficking in over four grams of methamphetamine, tampering with physical evidence, and persistent felony offender first degree.
Maria Zuniga Pincon, age 58 of Russell Springs, charged with possession of cocaine, driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and multiple traffic violations.
