The Jamestown City Council held first readings of two budget ordinances during its special-called meeting Thursday.
Jamestown Mayor Regena Hinton said a second reading and vote will take place at the June council meeting.
The city’s 26-27 budget includes total appropriations of just under $1.5 million in the general fund.
