The Russell County High School NJROTC program was selected by the Cincinnati Reds Players Give Back program, allowing the program’s cadets to attend a Reds game for free today.
The Russell County Board of Education met in special session yesterday to approve the trip due to it being out-of-state. Superintendent Michael Ford said it’s a great opportunity for the NJROTC cadets.
The Players Give Back program provides free tickets to community and student groups throughout the Major League Baseball season.
