The Russell County Tennis teams were in action yesterday, hosting Clinton County and Monroe County.
The boys and girls picked up 5-0 wins over Clinton County.
Carson Buras, Ethan Coe and Owen Buras picked up singles wins. In doubles, Sebastian Betts-Jimenez/Daniel Blakey and Gage Bryant/Carson Godby picked up wins.
On the girls side, Callie Terry, Laila Hammond, and Khloe Stephens earned singles wins. In doubles, Anna Kimbrell/Dori Ballou and Brinda Patel/Evie Ramsey picked up wins.
The boys earned a 4-1 win over Monroe County.
Carson Buras, Ethan Coe and Owen Buras picked up singles wins in that matchup as well. Gage Bryant/Carson Godby earned a doubles win.
The girls fell 4-1 to Monroe County.
Khloe Stephens earned a singles win.
The tennis teams are back in action today, playing on the road at Metcalfe County.
