Russell County Laker Football senior Kinnett Wills made it official yesterday, signing to continue his football career at Georgetown College.
Wills officially signed his letter of intent in front of a big crowd at the Russell County High School library yesterday afternoon.
WJRS Sports caught up with Wills at the ceremony to talk about what it means to him to sign to play college football.
Wills wrapped up a record-setting career this past fall with the Laker Football team, breaking the school record for receiving yards in a season with 812 during his senior campaign to go along with 8 receiving touchdowns. He also broke the school record for career receiving yards with a total of 2,306 yards during his Laker Football career.
Wills played both sides of the ball for the Lakers, and recorded 13 career interceptions.
