Russell County Hospital could soon have a new security officer.
Hospital CEO Scott Thompson said a couple interviews have been conducted with a few more this week, and he hopes an offer will be made following the interviews.
The hospital is working in conjunction with the Russell County Fiscal Court and Russell County Sheriff’s Office to hire an officer through a federal COPS grant.
