The Russell County Middle School Lady Laker Softball team shut out Wayne County on Friday, winning 12-0.
Lillian Davis pitched a 3-inning shutout, giving up just 1 hit and striking out 7 batters.
Hallie Knight finished the game with 2 hits and 2 runs batted in.
The Lady Lakers also participated in a tournament in Campbellsville on Saturday, where they won one game, lost two, and tied another.
