The Russell County High School Lady Laker Softball team lost another close game last night, falling 7-6 at home to Wayne County.
The Lady Cardinals scored the go-ahead run in the top of the 7th inning to pick up the victory.
Miley Rankins, Mickenzie McClure, and Madelyn Roy each finished the game with 2 hits. McClure and Emma Wilson each drove in 2 runs for the Lady Lakers.
