County to receive around $1.2M in funding for road improvements

Work is expected to begin on multiple roads around the county this summer, as it was announced the county is expected to receive more than $1 million in funding for local road improvements.

WJRS News caught up with Russell County Judge-Executive Randy Marcum to talk about the announcement.

This includes two sections of Ramsey Creek Road, East West Wilson Road, Pumpkin Creek Road, Decatur Road, and Beech Ridge Road, among several others.
