Authorities in Adair County are seeking information about a suspected arson case.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office said it is investigating a residential fire on Dry Creek Road in the Roley/Yuma community as a possible arson case.
Authorities say the Knifley Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the residence Sunday evening. According to the sheriff’s office, Deputy Josh Durbin responded to the scene as well due to multiple prior altercations at the address.
A neighbor reportedly alerted the landowner to the fire, and they were able to contain it until fire crews arrived. The sheriff’s office said the preliminary investigation determined arson to be a significant factor.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Adair County Sheriff’s Office.
