A Somerset man was arrested late last week and charged with sexual abuse of a minor.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office said 43-year-old Jesse Rivera was arrested and charged with sexual abuse first degree – victim under the age of 12.
Rivera was arrested and charged following an investigation by the sheriff’s office that began earlier this month. Law enforcement alleges that Rivera subjected a minor to sexual contact. The sheriff’s office also alleges that due to the investigation, there are other alleged victims who claim Rivera subjected them to inappropriate sexual contact.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office said information and evidence involving all victims will be presented to a grand jury.
Rivera was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
