Jared Roy has officially filed to run for a seat on the Jamestown City Council.
Roy is the first candidate to officially file to run for a seat on the city council in Jamestown or Russell Springs.
City council races will be on the ballot in the November general election.
Candidates have until June 2 to officially file their paperwork to run for these non-partisan offices.
