A Jamestown man was flown to the University of Kentucky Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in a crash Friday night.
The collision occurred just off the Jamestown Square on North Main Street in the area of the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office at around 8:20 Friday night.
Jamestown Police say 72-year-old Joe Logsdon was operating a 2020 Ford Ecosport on North Main Street when he struck a boat and its attached trailer. The boat and the truck towing it were unoccupied at the time of the collision, according to police.
Logsdon was transported from the scene by Russell County EMS, and later flown to the University of Kentucky Hospital for treatment of injuries.
Officer Logan Burton of the Jamestown Police Department is the investigating officer. The Jamestown Fire Department assisted at the scene.
