Laker Swim & Dive to compete in state finals this weekend

Several members of the Laker Swim & Dive team will compete in the state finals this weekend.

The boys compete today, and the girls compete tomorrow.

For Russell County:

Lyla Root and Abigail Robertson will compete in diving on the girls side, and Kendall Wilson, Garen Railsback, and Daniel Blakey will compete on the boys side.

Jacob Phillips will compete individually in the 100 butterfly and 200 freestyle.

The relay team of Phillips, Wilson, Ethan Hart and Ethan Coe will compete in the 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay.
