Russell County Judge-Executive Randy Marcum praised the work of local volunteers during the recent winter storm.
Volunteers, like those from Russell County Search and Rescue as well as local fire departments, handled a variety of tasks and met a number of needs within the community during the winter storm.
Marcum said FEMA crews were in Russell County yesterday along with the Kentucky Emergency Management Area 10 Director to look at debris from the winter storm, including the many trees that fell.
