Russell County High School’s Curtis Ervin recently received a teaching award from the Kentucky Music Educators Association.
Ervin was named the 2025 District 10 High School Teacher of the Year.
It’s the second year in a row a Russell County teacher has been recognized by KMEA.
Last year, Assistant Band Director Haley Harrington was recognized as the District 10 Middle School Teacher of the Year.
