Boreing captures youth state wrestling championship

Seven Russell County youth wrestlers competed this weekend in Louisville in the KFWC Youth State Championships, and Russell County’s Liam Boreing brought home a state championship to Russell County.

Boreing earned the state championship in the 12U 108 lb class.

It’s the first state championship for the Russell County wrestling program.
