11 indicted by grand jury

11 people were indicted by a Russell County grand jury this week.

Those indicted include the following:

Tony M. Wright, age 41, of Greensburg, and Angela Farrer, age 57, of Jamestown, charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance first degree, possession of drug paraphernalia, and persistent felony offender 2nd degree. Wright was also charged with operating on an expired license and no registration receipt.

Zachary J. Noble, age 40, of Jamestown, charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in heroin, trafficking in fentanyl, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, public intoxication, and persistent felony offender 1st degree.

Scott E. Wilkerson, age 40, of Russell Springs, charged with leaving the scene of an accident, two counts of wanton endangerment first degree, tampering with physical evidence, reckless driving, improper turning, and failure to produce insurance card.

James E. Carter, age 49, charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Theresa Grant, age 43, of Jamestown, charged with possession of methamphetamine and tampering with physical evidence.

Nathaniel Garrett, age 34, of Louisville, charged with possession of methamphetamine – 3rd offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating on a suspended or revoked license, no registration receipt, and license to be in possession.

Anthony D. Williams, age 34, of Russell Springs, and Nicole A. Popplewell, age 33, of Knifley, charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Williams is also charged with operating a motor vehicle with one headlight, no insurance, and license to be in possession.

Dustin Ard, age 41, of Russell Springs, charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating on a suspended license, failure to register transfer of motor vehicle, no registration plates or receipt, no insurance, and persistent felony offender.

David R. Smith II, age 28, of Russell Springs, charged with bail jumping 1st degree and persistent felony offender 2nd degree.
