The Lady Laker Basketball team defeated LaRue County by a score of 66-40 to advance in the Kentucky 2A regional.
Aniyah Coffey finished with a game-high 22 points and 8 rebounds. Addy Abrell scored 17 for the Lady Lakers. McKenna Ccamaque finished with 8 points and 7 assists on the night.
The Lady Lakers advance to play Lincoln County at Laker Gym Friday night in the next round of the 2A regional.
Before that, the Lady Lakers are on the road tonight, heading north to take on the Casey County Lady Rebels.
Tip-off from Casey County High School is scheduled for 6:30 CT.
